Alexander blanks Holley-Kendall

Scoring three quick runs in the first inning, Alexander went on to defeat Holley-Kendall 5-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League baseball game at Holley
The Trojans later added a pair of insurance runs in the fifth frame on a single by Joshua Merrill and an error.
The Hawks managed just one hit off Alexander pitcher Gunnar Kania who struck out 10. Kania also had a double in the key first inning.
Now at 1-2, the Hawks next visit Pembroke on Monday.
