Alden gridders down Roy-Hart/Barker
Building up a 20-6 half-time advantage, Alden went on to defeat visiting Roy-Hart/Barker 41-18 this evening in a rare Thursday night B-3 Division football game.
Alden quarterback Bryan Cybulski ran for two touchdowns and passed to Christian Snell for two more scores as Colin Skowronski added another TD for the Bulldogs.
Roy-Hart/Barker did cut the deficit to 15-6 at one point in the first half as a 90 yard kickoff return by Malik Smith set up a 6 yard touchdown run by Patrick Dwyer but could get no closer.
Roy-Hart/Barker’s other touchdowns in the second half came on runs of 1 yard by Charlie Bruning and 5 yards by Smith who had a total of 193 yards on the evening.
Alden is now 2-0 and Roy-Hart/Barker 0-2.
