Barre’s U10 diamond squad downs Holley
Home runs from Nathan Gibson and Cami London propelled the Barre Cubs 10u Midget League team to a 14-0 win over visiting Holley Monday.
A triple from Josh Bovenzi, a pair of singles from Myles Beach and additional singles from Mason Snook and Jacob Neal also helped the cause.
On the mound for Barre, Bovenzi threw 3 no hit innings, striking out 9 batters. Charlie Ward made his pitching debut, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 3.
Holley’s lone hit came from Caiden Tower.
Holley pitcher Hunter Smith made a couple of nice saves up the middle.
