Albion spikers win C-C Tournament title
Albion scored a straight set victory over Spencerpert today in the championship match of the Churchville-Chili Tournament.
Albion scored pool play wins over Spencerport, Warsaw and Gates-Chili. The Purple Eagles then bested Bloomfield in the semifinals to advance to the title match.
Albion’s Kelsee Soule earned tourney MVP honors and her teammate Meghan Hurley was named to the All-Tournament team.
Soule had 26 spiking kills and 48 digs on the day while Hurley had 31 assists and 24 digs, Sara Millspaugh 29 digs and 15 kills and Chanyce Powell 17 kills, 16 blocks and 16 digs.
