Albion youth wrestlers place at Rush Fest

Albion’s Purple Eagles Wrestling Academy competed in the Rush Fest IV, a New York State Top 100 Tournament, today at Rush-Henrietta.

The Purple Eagles Academy placed sixth out of 30 teams and had 13 of 22 wrestlers place in the top four of their division.

Paysen Sanders and Evan Coots both placed first; Colton Moreland and Michael McElwain second; Mikey Madison, Jeremy Lutes, Aspen Gillette and Hoyt Aina third and Alex Piccirilli, Kayden Donnelly, Justin Mengs, Jayovanni Ostrander and Liam Leader fourth.
