Albion, Wilson duos head N-O All-League girls basketball team

Champion Wilson and Albion have both placed two players on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League girls basketball squad.

Wilson, which captured a sixth straight N-O title, is represented by sophomores Kayla Neumann and Rachel Senek.

Albion has placed senior Justice Nauden and sophomore Chanyce Powell. Nauden is a repeat selection while Powell was a second team honoree last year.

Rounding out the first team is CSAT senior Jordan Frasier.

Senek scored a league leading 250 points this season (13 ave.) and also had 87 rebounds, 85 steals and 68 assists.

Nauden, a four year varsity player, averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

Powell averaged a double-double for the Purple Eagles averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Neumann scored 230 points (12 ave.) and had 104 steals, 102 rebounds and 76 assists.

A four year varsity starter, Frasier averaged 10.1 rebounds and 9.5 points.

Newfane led the way on the second team with two honorees, senior Brooke Horning and freshman Paige Emborsky.

The second unit also includes Roy-Hart senior Taylor Fry, Barker junior Caitlyn Mason and Akron senior Maggie Kowalik.
