Albion will host Dunkirk for Homecoming

Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Quarterback Amari Jones will lead Albion into Friday’s Homecoming game against Dunkirk at 7 p.m.

Looking to make it three wins in a row, Albion will host Dunkirk at 7 p.m. Friday in a B2 Division Homecoming game,

Rebounding from an 0-2 start to the season, Albion is coming off back-to-back road victories at Olean (38-21) and Pioneer (22-16).

Quarterback Amari Jones has hooked up with his brother Javon for 4 touchdown passes during that stretch and Jacob Hughson has rushed for a pair of touchdowns.

Albion is 1-2 in the division and 2-2 overall while Dunkirk is 0-3 in the Division and 0-4 overall.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville faces a key C North Division contest at Cleveland Hill at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The victor will improve to 2-1 in the division and move into a tie for second place with Akron.

Looking to keep the momentum from last week’s wild 28-26 overtime victory over Newfane, the Silverbacks are 1-1 in the division and 2-2 overall while the Golden Eagles are 1-1, 1-3.

Medina will visit East Aurora for an interdivisional game at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Mustangs are 4-0 and the Blue Devils 1-3.

Holley will celebrate Homecoming by hosting undefeated (4-0) Canisteo-Greenwood at 7 p.m. Friday in an 8 Man Division contest. The Hawks are 2-2.
