Albion vaulter places second at Hilton
Albion High senior Justyn Haines placed second in the pole vault at the Hilton Showdown Saturday night with a vault of 14-0.
His Purple Eagles teammate, senior Josh Girvin, turned in a vault of 12-6 to place seventh.
The previous weekend, Haines took top honors in the pole vault at the His and Hers Meet in Buffalo with a vault of 12-6.
Girvin finished second in that competition at 12-0.
