A goal in each half proved to be just enough to earn Albion a 2-1 victory over the host Greece Cobras Thursday evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U17 Division game.

Albion tied the game at 1-1 in the first half on a goal by Emily Blanchard off an assist from Mikayla Yaskulski.

Albion then scored the game winner in the second half as Ally Page tallied from Blanchard.

“It was really a great game,” said Albion Coach Paul Zeppetella. “The girls really played hard.”

Albion improves to 6-3-2 heading into Sunday’s season finale against Attica.
