Albion U17 boys post soccer shutout

Improving to 4-2, Albion blanked visiting Churchville 3-0 this evening in a Rochester District Soccer League boys U17 Division game that was halted early in the second half due to a thunderstorm.

Albion jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Ryan Reed.

Gilberto Gayton followed up with a goal a few minutes later, off an assist from Jacob Squicciarini, to double Albion’s advantage.

Dakota Henhawk then rounded out the scoring as Marcos Sanchez earned the assist.

Morgan Seielstad earned the shutout in goal for Albion which also got strong defensive efforts from Donato Rosario, Ryan Reed, Dan Beam, Sanchez and Nick Reed.
