Albion U17 booters tie, bow
Putting together a big second half rally, Albion battled to a 2-2 tie with front-running host LeRoy this evening in a Rochester District Soccer League girls U17 Division game.
Trailing 2-0 at he half, Albion rallied for the tie on a pair of second half goals by Ally Page off assists by Madyson Coville and Emily Blanchard. Page netted the equalizer with just five minutes to play.
“The whole team just battled really well, especially in the second half, to earn the tie,” said Albion Coach Paul Zeppetella.
Albion improves to 4-3-2 while LeRoy is now 8-1-1.

Gananda 3, Albion 2
Playing shorthanded in the first half, Albion dropped a narrow 3-2 decision at Gananda this afternoon in a Rochester District Soccer League boys U17 Division game.
Playing with only nine players in the first half Albion fell behind 2-1 and was not able to over come the deficit.
Dylan Bader and Marcos Sanchez each scored a goal for Albion which slips to 8-3.
Albion closes out the season at division leading Scotsville (8-1-1) on Tuesday.
