Albion U17 booters post 5th win
Improving to 5-2, Albion’s U17 boys squad defeated visiting Mt. Morris/Dansville 4-2 Monday evening in Rochester District Soccer League action.
Gilberto Gayton scored two goals for Albion as Dakoda Henhawk and Dylan Bader each added one.
Helping to spark the Albion defense effort were Marcos Sanchez, Jacob Squicciarini, Ryan Reed, Nick Reed, Dan Beam, Donato Rosario and Alejandro Ocampo Jr.

G.I. sweeps Medina Fillies
Grand Island scored a pair of victories over the Medina 14U girls softball team Saturday by scores of 13-0 and 9-4.
In the second game, Ryenn Oliver had a two-run triple and Marissa Grimes a home run for the Fillies which also got two hits each from Natalie Bigelow and Kennedy Lampart.
