Albion U16 booters rally late for win
Albion’s U16 boys squad rallied in the second half to defeat visiting Greece United FC Festa 3-2 Thursday evening in a Rochester District Soccer League game.
Trailing 2-1 in the second half, Albion pulled even as Hayden Pecoraro scored off an assist by Elliot Neidert.
Albion then pulled out the victory on a goal by Dakoda Henhawk with just a couple of minutes remaining off an assist from Spencer Lombard.
The game was tired 1-1 at the half. Pecoraro scored Albion’s first half goal off an assist from Brad Sanford.
This past Monday, the Albion U16 squad lost 4-0 to the Churchville Marines.
