Albion U15 rallies late for diamond win
The Albion U15 baseball team rallied in the sixth inning to nip Batavia Legion 7-6 this evening in a GLOW League contest at Williams Park in Batavia.
Trailing 6-5, Albion regained the lead for good by scoring twice in the sixth as Javon Jones and Caleb Fox had key hits. Jones also turned in a strong relief job on the mound registering 7 strikeouts.
Earlier, Albion rallied into a 4-4 tie by scoring four times in the third inning as Cade Wolcott, Caden Uderitz, Mason Bennett, Bryce Wilson and Chris Sacco all had hits.
Albion improves to 2-1.
