Albion U16 boys rally to earn tie

Albion’s U15 girls team dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Gates this evening in a Rochester District Soccer League game that was called at half-time due to thunder and lightning.

Albion had grabbed an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Anna Lewis but Gates closed the half with three straight tallies.

Albion U16 rallies to tie

Rebounding from an early 2-0 deficit, the Albion boys U16 team rallied to earn a 3-3 tie against the host Irondequoit Challlenge Blue Monday in a Rochester District Soccer League game.

Albion first cut the deficit to 2-1 at the half on a goal by Dakoda Henhawk.

Albion then knotted the contest at 2-2 in the second half on a goal by Hayden Pecoraro only to see Irondequoit answer with a tally to regain a 3-2 advantage.

However, Albion rallied again to gain the 3-3 tie on another goal by Pecoraro.
