Rebounding from their first loss of the season, the Albion U15 baseball team defeated Spencerport Gold 13-6 Saturday in Barre to finish the Brockport Pony League regular season at 11-1.

Starting in the bottom of the third inning, Albion quickly went up 9-3 on hits by Zach Colacecchi and Bryce Wilson and a double by Austin Narburgh. Albion then added 4 more in the 5th.

The victory avenged an 8-1 loss to Spencerport Gold on Thursday.

A triple by Colacecchi and a double by Wilson were Albion’s only hits in that contest as Spencerport jumped out to an early lead in the second inning.

Albion will next face Chili Tuesday at Barre Park in a semi final playoff match up at 6 p.m. The winner of this contest up will go on to the championship game tentatively scheduled for Thursday.
