Albion tops Medina to avenge earlier loss; Holley downs rival Kendall

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Albion’s Cami London takes a shot on goal as Savannah Watts moves in for Medina. The action took place during the Purple Eagles win over the visiting Mustangs this evening.

Avenging an early season 2-1 loss, Albion downed visiting Medina 4-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game this evening.

The Purple Eagles built up a 3-1 lead in the first half on goals by Cami London, Sophia Albanese and Julia Button. Oliva Krenning later netted the lone second half goal.

Stella Poler scored for Medina.

Roy-Hart 3, Akron 1
Nadia White scored 2 goals an Allie Trombley 1 to lead Roy-Hart to a 3-1 victory over Akron.

Grace Parker and Grace Trombley each had an assist for the Lady Rams which improve to 4-1 in N-O action.

Holley 6, Kendall 0

Five players contributed goals as Holley bested rival Kendall 6-0 to improve to 6-1-1 in Genesee Region League action.

Sam Bates scored 2 goals for the Lady Hawks as Zoey Wolf, Emma Brady, Jailyn Bishop and Bella Thom each netted 1.

Holley led 1-0 at the half.

Roy-Hart 4, City Honors 0
Peter Martillotta had 3 goals, Aiden Guild a goal and an assist and Rem Albee 2 assists for Roy-Hart in the 4-0 non league win over City Honors.
