Albion tops Medina in JV football to go to 7-0

The Albion JV football team was able to complete a 7-0 regular season by defeating Medina 32-0 at Vets Park on Saturday.

Tyray White ran for two touchdowns, while Deyonci Farley ran for one, and quarterback Thomas Furmanski threw a touchdown to Anthony Freeman.

The Purple Eagles scored a touchdown and two-point conversion in each quarter.

Tyler Chinn led the limited Mustangs offense on the day with 70 receiving yards.

Bobby Geiger came up with two fumble recoveries to lead the Mustangs defense.

Mario Fidanza and Emmanual Taylor each made 6 tackles.

Albion will face Akron on Thursday night, while the Mustangs, now at 5-2, will travel to Alden for a rematch with the JV Bulldogs on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The Mustangs won the previous matchup 32-12.
