Albion ‘9’ to open sectionals at home
No. 7 seed Albion will host No. 10 Dunkirk at 5 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the Section VI Class B1 baseball playoffs.
The other Clsss B1 games on Thursday involving Niagara-Orleans League teams will have No. 11 Medina at No. 6 Springville, No. 13 Newfane at No. 4 Alden and No. 9 Tonawanda at No. 8 CSAT.
In Class B2, No. 9 Akron visits No. 8 Falconer and No. 6 Wilson hosts Cattaraugus/Little Valley at 5 p.m. Thursday.
N-O champion Roy-Hart is seeded No. 2 in Class B2 and draws an opening round bye. The Rams will host the winner of the No. 10 Lackawanna vs. No. 7 Southwestern game at 5 p.m. Friday.
In Class C, No, 3 Barker will host the winner of the No. 11 Chautauqua Lake vs. No. 6 Silver Creek game next Monday at 5 p.m.
