Albion to host N-O vs. G-R senior basketball twin bill Friday

Albion will play host to the 15th annual Niagara-Orleans League vs. Genesee Region League Exceptional Senior basketball doubleheader on Friday.
The girls game is scheduled for 5 p.m. followed by the boys contest at 6:30 p.m.
The N-O holds a 10-4 lead in the series against the G-R in the boys game and a 9-5 lead in the girls contest.
Last year the N-O boys made it six wins in a row with a 53-43 victory while the girls completed the sweep with a 64-55 win.
The roster for the N-O girls team includes Taylor Miller (Medina), Becky Harnish (Roy-Hart), Olivia Denny (Barker), Julia Atwater (Barker), Emily Kam (Wilson), Allie Bubar (Wilson), Kaylee Stoelting (Wilson), Jennifer Komosinski (Akron), Tobie Abrams (Akron), Gina Henley (Akron), Claire Puff (Newfane), Marlo MacFarlane (Newfane) and Inez Sullivan (CSAT).
The G-R girls lineup includes Jenna Castricone (Lyndonville), Nicole Blackburn (Holley), Nicole Browe (Kendall), Shelby Reis (Kendall), Laurie Call (Notre Dame), Kristen Hohn (Byron-Bergen), Shawna Adams (Byron-Bergen), Lydia Spiotta (Alexander), Michaela Hale (Oakkfield-Alabama), Breanna Johnson (Pembroke), Chance Alexyn (Pembroke) and Abby Kamszy (Attica).
