Albion teams score youth football wins

Albion scored wins over Akron and Attica in Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) action Saturday.

Beginners
Albion 44 Akron 7

Big day on the ground for the Little Eagles rushing game. Touchdown runs of 85 and 70 yards for Moses Taylor, 69 and 60 for Grayson Roberts, 38 for Elian Almonte and 35 for Conor Murphy.

On Defense, Almonte returned a fumble for a TD to go along with 15 tackles. Carter Carithers had 10 tackles.

Albion 22 Attica 15

Camden Holt led the offense with 151 yards rushing. including a 73 yard td run while breaking 6 tackles. Jace Torres finished with 97 yards and a TD. Lincoln Voorhees added 29 yards and a score. Jace DiMatteo and Voorhees connected on a PAT.

Holt also led the defense with 6 tackles. Zion O’Neal and Liam Saporito had 5 tackles each. DiMatteo sealed the victory with a interception.

Attica 7 Albion 6

Jermiah Hildreth 32 yard interception return for a TD provided the only points for the Eagles. Landyn Galligan had 7 tackles and a sack, Anthony O’Neal had 5 tackles.

Heyden Almonte had 77 yards on the ground for the Eagles.

Varsity

Jonah Elsenheimer had a pair of TD passes to Rocco Sidari on the day to led the Albion offense.

Kendrick Russaw led the defense with 14 tackles, Hayden Cowley 5 tackles and Elsenheimer 4.
