Purple Eagles sweep Seahorses; Channel Cats take two from Panthers

Albion swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet this evening.

Albion won the boys’ meet 61-30 and the girls’ competition 60-34

Dallas Ecker was a double winner in the 200 Indivdual Medley and 100 Breaststroke and Finn McCue took both the 50 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly for the Albion boys’ squad which also had Mason Giattino win the 100 Free.

Caden Class won both the 200 Free and 500 Free and Jackson Moreland took the 100 Backstroke for Medina.

The Albion boys are now 2-3 and Medina 0-5.

Kiera Sidari doubled in the IM and Butterfly for the Albion girls as Maggie Olles took the 50 Free, Mia Olles the 100 Free, Julia Fuller the 500 Free and Willow Gaines the Breaststroke.

Maddy Satkowski won the 200 Free and Maddy Rutledge the 100 backstroke for Medina.

The Albion girls are now 2-3 and Medina 1-4.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville sweeps Newfane
Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville likewise swept to a doubleheader victory over Newfane winning the boys’ met 90-70 and the girls’ competition 108-60.

Sean Labiak doubled in the 200 Free and 100 Backstroke and Andrew Ossont took both the 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke for the RBL boys squad which also had Zackary Walker win the 100 Butterfly..

Newfane’s Noah Kneeland doubled in the IM and 500 Free and Elijah Thompson took the 50 Free.

The RBL boys are now 4-1 and Newfane 3-2.

Julia Miles won both the 200 Free and 100 Free and Alexis Seib doubled in the IM and 500 Free for the RBL girls which also had Nadia White win the 100 Breaststroke.

Avery Stevenson doubled in the 50 Free and Butterfly for Newfane.

The RBL girls are now 5-0 and Newfane 1-4.
