Albion Storm wraps up season with victory
The Albion Storm closed out the softball season on a high note by downing Brockport 18-9 on Tuesday.
Leah Zastrow, Izzy D’Agostino, and Teagan Shaw all shared the pitching duties with Zastrow handling the first half of the game.
The Storm’s defense was sharp as in the fourth inning three runners were picked off trying to steal home by Meadow Smith and D’Agostino.
Sparking the offense, Shaw went 3-3, Kate Viza and Gia Howard 2-3, and Zastrow 2-3 with a double. D’Agostino also collected a single.
The Storm ended the season at 6-4 which is another improvement from last year.
