Albion Storm scores win over visiting Warsaw
The Albion Storm downed the visiting Warsaw JayBee squad 13-10 on Tuesday.
Kaitlin Bennett started on the mound for the Storm and fired in 7 strikeouts over 4 innings only giving up 5 hits.
The Storm’s bats were swinging for the fences as they had 14 hits. Leading the bats was Anna Gillette going 3-3 with three hard line drive singles. Melia Prince went 2-3 with double and a single, Gia Howard also went 2-3 with a triple and a single, while Ava Woolston also went 2-3 with two singles. Nathalia Coley doubled in the bottom of the 4th, while Bennett, Lilly Maynard, Loralei Gailie, and Anna Grillo also had singles.
The Storm next visit Oakfield Blue on Thursday.
