Anchored by a good nucleus of returnees, Albion is taking aim at improving upon last year’s 0-10 Niagara-Orleans League volleyball record.

Seniors Lindsey Mann, Sierra Newton, McKenna Boyer, Natalie Lathrop, Isabella Gibbs and Haley Smith head that large veteran contingent which also includes juniors Ella Knaak and Breanda Johnson along with sophomores Emani Poole, Rylee Pearles and Logan Conlon.

“We had a lot of kids get some good varsity experience last year so we’re definitely expecting a big improvement,” said Coach Melody Beecher whose squad also includes juniors Ashlyn LeBaron and Katie Spierdowis.

The Purple Eagles will open N-O competition on September 5 at home against Roy-Hart.
