Albion spikers downed by Attica in opener
A come-from-behind overtime win in the opening set keyed Attica to a 26-24, 25-14, 25-17 victory over host Albion this evening in a season opening non league girls volleyball match.
Albion jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the opening set but Attica rallied back with a 22-12 scoring edge to claim the key opening set.
Caitlynn Snook had 6 service aces, 5 spiking kills and 6 digs to lead the way for Albion as Natalie Lathrop added 4 kills and 6 digs, Haley Smith 6 kills and Bri Johnson 12 assists.
Albion next host Alexander on Friday in another non league match.
