Albion scores two youth football wins

Albion scored a pair of wins over LeRoy Saturday to close out the Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) regular season.

Beginner
Albion 40, LeRoy 0

Touchdowns runs from Moses Taylor (2), Conor Murphy, Elian Almonte and Grayson Roberts helped led the Beginner Eagles to their 8th win on the year. Almonte finished with 105 yards, Taylor with 87 and Murphy with 81. Neil Farly, Jesus Vallejo and Roberts also added some yards on the ground. Patrick Westlund added a PAT.

Almonte led the defense with 8 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries. Roman Tisdale and Carter Carithers added 3 each. Carithers had 2 fumble recoveries.

The Beginner Eagles will face Roy Hart on October 28th in Batavia at 10am.

Jayce Torres 2nd TD of the day in the 4th quarter put the Mini Eagles ahead to stay. Torres finished with 126 yards on the ground. Camden Holt added 44 yards.

Torres finished with 7 tackles, Harrison Froman 6, Liam Pearl and Zion O’Neal 5.

The Mini Eagles will play Attica this Saturday at Albion High School with a Noon kickoff time. Following the Roy-Hart vs Newfane game at 10am.

Heyden Almonte, Jerimiah Hildreth, Colton Morland and Anthony O’Neal help led the offensive rushing attack.

Brycen Potter, Landyn Galligan led the defense with 5 tackles each. Connor Jurs, O’Neal and Morland had 4 each.
