Albion scores sweep in youth football

Albion scored a clean sweep capturing victories in all four Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) games Saturday.
Beginner
Albion 46, Holley 6
Moses Taylor led the Beginner Eagles rushing attack with 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. Greyson Roberts had 75 yards and 2 TD’s. Conor Murphy picked up 55 yards and 1 TD. Elian Almonte ran in 2 PAT’s and caught 1 from Roberts.
Almonte also led the defense with 12 tackles and Taylor had 4.
Mini
Albion 27, Holley 14
Jayce Torres had a huge day on ground for the Eagles picking up 224 yards with 4 TD’s. Camden Holt had 107 yards and Jace DiMatteo 54 yards. Liam Pearl and DiMatteo had PAT’s.
Liam Saporito, Lincoln Voorhees, Zion O’Neal and Holt led the defense.
JV
Albion 32, Holley 0
Eleven different ball carries helped lead the Eagles to a victory. Ethan Olles had 65 yards and 2 TD’s, Jermiah Hildreth 49 yards and 1 TD, Heyden Almonte 44 yards, Anthony O’Neal 41 yards and Brycen Potter added a TD. O’Neal also had a kickoff return for a touchdown. Almonte and Hildreth picked up PAT’s.
Landyn Galligan led the defense with 6 tackles. Matthew Schomske added 4.Hudson Armer and Traper Croft had great days on defense.
Varsity
Albion 15, Akron 6
Kendrick Russaw led the Eagles offense with 178 yards and 2 touchdowns to go with 22 receiving and a PAT. Hayden Cowley had 33 yards rushing. Albion used the “Mo Special” for a PAT with Mosehard Hunt.
Hunt and Cowley led the defense with 8 tackles. Oliver Stoffa picked up 6 and Russaw 4.
