Albion, Roy-Hart booters bow

Wilson blanked visiting Albion 8-0 and Akron shutout visiting Roy-Hart 6-0 this afternoon in Niagara-Orleans League boy soccer action.

Cesar Carlin scored 4 goals to lead the way for Wilson which improves to 6-2-2 as Albion slips to 4-6-2.

Bryan Whitbeck had a goal and 2 assists while Tyler Jones and Tristan Olszewski each had a goal and an assist to spark Akron which goes to 7-3-1 as Roy-Hart drops to 1-10.

Newfane, which has already locked up the N-O title shutout CSAT (1-10) 5-0 to improve to 10-0-1.

Goals in the first 23 minutes by Mateo May, Clayton Cleveley and Chad Gilson sparked the Panthers as Trevor Moreland chipped in with 3 assists.

In one Genesee Region League girls soccer game Pembroke blanked Lyndonville 4-0.
