Albion, Roy-Hart netters post N-O wins
Albion blanked Newfane 5 1/2-0 and Roy-Hart downed Barker 3 1/2-2 this afternoon in Niagara-Orleans League tennis action.
Singles wins by the trio of Matt Kovaleski, Connor McQuillan and Victor Benjovsky set the pace for Albion which improves to 6-3.
The Purple Eagles also got wins from the doubles duos of Owen Foos-Emilie Barleben, Donato Rosario-Freeman Lattin and Kastriot Bela- Juan Santiago.
The loss drops Newfane to 0-11.
Wins by Patrick Sheelar at first singles and Madigan Lang at third singles led the way for Roy-Hart which improves to 3-7.
The Rams also got wins from Rachel Hutter and Bea Bacon at second doubles and by Sam Koch and Kayla Hagen at third doubles.
Barker, which slips to 3-8, got wins from Jake Meister at second singles and by the first doubles team of Nick Sutch and Jake Harris.
