Albion Raptors compete in Wilson Tourney

The Albion Raptors went 1-2 on the weekend at the Wilson U17 soccer tournament.

The Raptors opened the tourney with a 2-1 win over the Hilton Heat avenging a league loss this past week. Aly Knaak scored the game winner.

The Raptors were then blanked 2-0 by the Niagara Pioneer.

Neeeding a win to earn a berth in the finals, the Raptors saw the Lockport Lightning come from behind twice to claim a 4-2 victory.

The Raptors held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Abby Scanlan.

The Raptors return to Rochester District Youth Soccer League Wednesday at Chili.

Kendall 0, Avon 0
Goals proved hard to come by as Kendall played to a 0-0 tie with host Avon this evening in a Rochester District U18 Division game.

Kendall, which is now 2-1-1, will host Medina/Lyndonville next Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
