Rebounding from a two goal second half deficit, Albion rallied to nip visiting Fairport 5-4 this evening to capture a Rochester District Soccer League girls U18 Division championship.

Trailing 4-2, Allbion rallied back into a tie as Brylie Hapeman scored from Kenzi Hapeman and then Mariah Plain scored on a direct kick.

Albion then scored the game winner with four minutes to go as Abi Scanlan tallied off an assist from Plain.

Albion had jumped out to a 2-1 lead at the half.

Brylie Hapeman, who topped the 20 goal mark for the 10 game season, netted both of those first half goals, the first coming after she stole the ball near the Fairport net and the second off an assist from Plain.

Albion finishes its title season with an 8-1-1 record.
