Coming from behind twice, Albion edged past visiting Batavia 4-3 Sunday evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U18 Division game.

Albion first rebounded from an early 1-0 deficit to pull even on a goal by Abigail Scanlan.

Batavia though quickly regained the lead on a breakaway goal.

However, Albion came battling back again behind a big scoring burst by Brylie Hapeman.

Hapeman scored before half-time to pull Albion back to within one at 3-2.

She then completed her hat-trick with a pair of second half goals to rally Albion into the narrow victory.

Quinn McCue helped to anchor the defense for Albion which improves to 2-1-1.

Previously Albion had defeated Fairport 3-0, tied Canandaigua 2-2 and lost to Gananda 3-2.

Albion next hosts Caledonia at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
