Albion posts key OT win in Mini Division

In a battle of 4-1 teams,  Albion pulled off a thrilling 21-13 double overtime win over Tri Town Saturday in the Mini Division of the Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA).

Noah Harrison had a 6 yard touchdown run and caught the 2 point conversion from Roman Manella in the second overtime.  The Albion defense stopped Tri Town after that to secure the win.

Harrison had 115 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.  He also caught a 60 yard td from Manella.  Boe Preston had 10 yards rushing.

Harrison led the defense with 18 tackles,  Mason Snook 7 tackles and Jayovanni Ostrander had 5 tackles.

In the JV Division, Albion pulled out a 21-8 win over Tri Town.

Makyell Walker sealed the game with a 49 yard touchdown with just over a minute left.  On the day Walker had 140 yards rushing and 2 TDs.  Nate Gibson had 84 yards passing including a 18 yard TD pass to Kwame Riley.

On defense Kwame Riley had 8 tackles, Wes Olles 6, Raekwan Riley 5 tackles and a sack and Jairo Chavez 5 tackles.

In the Varsity Division, Tri Town edged Albion 16-13

Jacob Hughson had a 55 yard touchdown run and caught a 64 yard TD pass from Shakarion Drisdom.  Sh’kwe Riley had 46 yards on the ground.

Hughson led the defense with 10 tackles and Riley 6.
