Albion opens All-League meet with 3 wins

Albion captured top honors in three events this afternoon during the first day of competition at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League track meet at Roy-Hart.
Preston Flugel won the pole vault with a vault of 13-0 while Tre Yaskuski captured the Triple Jump (43-6) and Alanna Holman the 3000 (11:24).
The top three finishers in each of the individual events completed today as as follows:
Boys 800 – Collin McCabe (N), Dan Heil (M), Aiden Cayea (M) 2:02.9.
Boys 3200 – Sam Auernhamer (N), Jack Hill (M), Aiden Cayea (M) 10:17.
Boys Discus – Marcus Kenline (Ak), Nick Perry (Alb), Mason Secor (W) 118-11.
Boys Triple Jump – Tre Yaskulski (Alb), Andrew Boudeman (N), Marcell Wilson (W) 43-6.
Boys Pole Vault – Preston Flugel (Alb), Mark Coder (W), Jerico Chudy (Alb) 13-0.
Girls 800 – Kim Goerss (N), Vanessa Burkhart (N), Lauren Wagner (Ak) 2:26.68.
Girls 3000 – Alanna Holman (Alb), Anna Rickard (R-H), Cat Ersing (N) 11:24.
Girls Discus – Amanda Swader (Ak), Casey A’Hearn (B), Izzy Dinse (W) 104-10.
Girls Triple Jump – Skylar Munnikhuysen (W), Emily Foltz (N), Shea Munnikhuysen (W) 32-11.
Boys 1600 Relay – Newfane (Reese Casinelli, Collin McCabe, Andrew Boudeman, Ibrahim Umaru) 3:31.30 (school record).
Girls 1600 Relay – Akron (Makenzie O’Brien, Margo Henley, Caele Harsch, Madison Jimerson) 4:15.02.
The meet will conclude on Thursday at Roy-Hart with the field events beginning at 4 p.m. and the track events at 4:30 p.m.
