Albion netters win to open N-O title defense

Albion opened defense of its Niagara-Orleans League tennis championship by scoring a 4-0 win over visiting Barker this afternoon.

Leo Bolton and Landon Graybill scored singles wins for Albion which also got victories by the doubles teams of Oliver Beach – Jillian LeBaron and Kenadie Patten – Hanna Kumalac.

In another N-O match Akron edged visiting Medina 3-2.

The Tigers swept the three doubles matches on wins by the duos of Talia Rupp – Paisley Pasnik, Maddie Farley – Allie Smith and Eli Biesinger – Levon Fuller.

Medina took the two singles matches on wins by River Jones and Logan Trillizio.

Today’s match at Albion was the Purple Eagles first on their new purple courts.
