Anchored by a good nucleus of five returning regulars, Albion is scheduled to open the Niagara-Orleans League season at Roy-Hart on Monday.
Monday’s other openers will have Barker at Medina and Wilson at defending champion Akron as Newfane draws the bye.
Albion, which finished second in the final N-O standings last spring at 8-4, returns senior Carson Bader and freshman Leo Bolton at singles spots along with the trio of James Beach and Charley London, both seniors, and Clara Bolton, junior, who all played doubles last season.
Bader earned first team N-O All-League honors and Leo Bolton was a second team honoree.
Roy-Hart, which went 5-7, is led by Nik Gutierrez at first singles who also earned first team All-League honors.
The Rams are also looking to seniors Jacob Hagen, Chelsea Gutierrez, Cassidy Ohol and junior Alex Stern.
Akron, which went 12-0 last spring to claim a third straight N-O crown, is led by first team All-League honorees Will Chubb, a senior, and Caleb Suckow, a junior. The Tigers also return second team All-League honorees Sean Brennan and Sean O’Shannessey, both seniors, and freshman Sam Nierscier along with Honorable Mention selection Morgan Towlson, a junior.
The other returning first team All-League honorees include Medina senior Joe Lederhouse, Barker senior Nathan Meza Ray, Newfane senior Conner Gunby and Wilson senior Joey Moote.
