Top seeded Sandstone completed a 17-0 season by defeating No. 3 seed Actives 10-2 Saturday in the Albion Midget League playoff championship game at the Midget League Field. The Sandstone lineup includes, in front, Cameron Brownell, Caden Uderitz, Chris Sacco and Kyle Hughson. Players in back include Bailey Blanchard, Zack Colacecchi, Rylend Callicutt, Kyle Sidari, Isaih Callicutt, Mike DiCureia, Nick Sacco, Patrick Ricker and Vincent Zona.. The coaches include Ron Ricker, Dan Bartlett, Shawn Kelly, Ryan Uderitz and Jim Colacecchi. Sandstone, whose sponsor is Carl Petronio, advanced to the title contest by defeating No. 8 Holley 12-2 in the quarterfinals and No. 4 Barre 9-1 in the semis.

Seeded No. 3, Actives scored victories of 6-5 in extra innings over No. 6 Carlton in the quarterfinals and 5-1 over No. 2 Vets in the semifinals to advance to the Albion Midget League playoff title contest where Sandstone emerged with a 10-2 win.
