Albion Midget League opens Saturday
The Albion Midget League will begin youth baseball competition on Saturday with opening ceremonies scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Midget League Field located behind the Albion Town building on Clarendon Road.
This season the league lineup will have eight teams including Rotary/Lions Club, Sandstone Park, Vets Club, Carlton/Elks Club, St. Mary’s Athletic Club, Barre, Active Hose Co. and Holley.
Saturday’s opening day games will have Holley vs. Actives, 2 p.m. at Midget League Field; Sandstone Park vs. St. Mary’s, 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s; Carlton vs. Barre, 2:30 p.m. at Barre and Rotary/Lions vs. Vets, 4:30 p.m. at Midget League Field.
