Albion and Medina split in N-O swim opener

Albion and Medina both came away with a victory in a season opening Niagara-Orleans League swim meet at Albion this evening.

Albion won the boys meet 61-30 as Dallas Ecker won both the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly, Finn McCue the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke and Joel Slack the 50 Free.

Caiden Class was a double winner for Medina in the 200 Free and 500 Free and Jackson Moreland took the 100 Backstroke.

Medina won the girls’ meet 51-41 as Madeline Mark won both the Individual Medley and 500 Free, Madison Watts the 50 Free, Penelope Schalck the 100 Free and Madelynn Rutledge the Backstroke.

Gina Sidari won both the 200 Free and Butterfly and Willow Gaines the Breaststroke for Albion.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville and Newfane split

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville defeated host Newfane 99-70 in the girls meet as Julia Miles was a double winner in the 50 Free and 100 Free.

Newfane downed RBL 85-77 in the boys meet as Eli Thompson took both the 50 Free and Backstroke.
