Defending champion Albion defeated visiting Roy-Hart 25-12, 25-14, 25-13 and Medina downed host Wilson 25-19, 25-18, 25-19 this evening in Niagara-Orleans League volleyball action.
In one other N-O match, Akron defeated Newfane 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.
Kelsee Soule had 13 spiking kills and 8 digs, Chanyce Powell 12 kills, 6 digs and 5 aces, Meghan Hurley 6 kills, 4 aces and 13 assists, Aleah Foos 3 kills and 2 blocks, Emilie Barleben 4 assists and 1 ace, Caitlynn Snook 4 digs and 1 kill, Kassidy Hastings 7 assists and 2 digs and Ashlee Bocach 3 digs to lead the way for Albion.
Albion is now 3-0 and Roy-Hart 1-1.
Carley Schultz had 17 service points including 2 aces and Lexi Neuman 17 points with 4 aces for Medina which also had Emily Kams with 11 assists and 4 kills, Megan O’Keefe 19 digs, Je’ne Brown 6 kills and Molley Gross 5 kills.
Medina and Wilson are now both 1-1.
Taylor McGhee had 4 kills, Faith Morgan 3 kills and Erin Harrington 2 kills and 2 blocks for Newfane.
