Albion, Medina golfers post wins to go to 3-0
Registering identical team scores Albion and Medina both posted victories this morning in Niagara-Orleans League golf action.
Albion defeated Newfane 228-287 at Hickory Ridge and Medina downed Wilson 228-260 at Willowbrook as both teams improve to 3-0.
Nick Penna earned medalist honors for Albion with a 36. Patrick Ricker added a 42 and Nick Perry 46 for the Purple Eagles.
Ian Wagner shot 37 to earn medalist honors for Medina as Andrew Fuller had a 45, Aidan Paul 47 and Jake Bensley 49.
Wilson’s Nate Fox shared medalist honors with a 37 and Patrick Seeley added a 43.
In the girls competition, Medina’s Melanie Green led the way with a 42.
In the other N-O match, Akron downed Roy-Hart 248-268 at Shelridge.
Brennan Murty shot 47 and Stephen Wagner 48 for Akron.
Madigan Lang took medalist honors for Roy-Hart with a 42 and Murphy Lang added a 45.
