Busy week on the diamond for Albion, Medina

Niagara-Orleans League diamond competition shifts into high gear this coming week following the Easter break as both the Albion and Medina squads have busy slates  of at least three games.

The 2-1 Albion baseball squad hosts Barker (1-1) in a makeup game Monday, Wilson Wednesday and then visits rival Medina Friday. Medina, which is 0-1, hosts Roy-Hart Wednesday and Wilson Saturday.

The Holley baseball team will be on a southern trip as the Hawks will play two games and a scrimmage at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

In N-O softball, Medina (0-1) has four games on tap including makeup games at home against Barker on Tuesday and at Roy-Hart on Saturday as well as regular scheduled contests at home against Roy-Hart on Wednesday and at Albion on Friday. Albion (0-2) also visits Roy-Hart on Monday and Wilson on Thursday.

N-O track competition also gets underway on Thursday with Akron at Albion, Medina at Barker and Wilson at Roy-Hart.
