Albion, Medina compete at track invitationals

The Albion and Medina track teams had a busy Saturday of competition at area invitationals.

The Purple Eagles competed at the Webster Invitational and the Mustangs at the Buffalo Invitational.

Tre Yaskulski won the 110 Hurdles and Bri Haines the pole vault to lead the way for Albion.

The Purple Eagles also had Yaskulski place third in the Triple Jump, Anthony Freeman third in the 400 Hurdles, Dominic Burton fourth in 400 Hurdles and fifth in the 110 Hurdles, Sophia Zambito fourth in the High Jump and Emma Mathes fifth in 800.

Dan Heil won the 800 and Devin Griffin the High Jump to set the pace for Medina.

The Mustangs also had Lincoln Pace place second in the Long Jump, Heil third in the 1600, Olivia Carter third in Long Jump, Triple Jump and 400 Hurdles, Connor Miller third in 110 Hurdles and Jack Hill fourth in the 1600 and fifth in the 3200.
