Albion, Lyndonville spikers post wins

Albion, which has already locked up a second straight league title, scored a straight set 26-24, 25-15, 25-13 victory at Wilson (7-4) this evening to stay perfect at 11-0 in Niagara-Orleans volleyball competition.

Kelsee Soule had 13 spiking kills, 17 digs and 3 service aces; Chanyce Powell 8 kills, 6 digs, 2 aces and 4 blocks; Meghan Hurley 5 kills, 10 digs, 1 ace and 12 assists; Sara Millspaugh 5 kills and 5 digs, Olivia Neidert 11 assists and 3 digs and Aleah Foos 2 kills and 4 blocks to lead the Purple Eagles which improve to 15-1 overall on the season.

Lyndonville came from behind to score a four set Senior Night victory over visiting Kendall in a Genesee Region League match.

Morgan Hungerford had 12 aces, 4 blocks, 12 kills and 10 digs; Hayley Wetherbee 6 aces and 10 digs; Jenna Preston 4 kills and 3 digs and Cierra Riley 7 kills and 3 aces to lead the Lady Tigers.

Sarah Pearson had 7 kills and 10 aces and Chelsea Wright 14 digs and 2 aces for Kendall.

Erica Wright had 13 kills, 14 digs and 4 aces; Taylor McGhee 7 kills and 14 digs, Nicki Harrington 5 kills and 1 block; Maggie Kropf 3 kills and 2 blocks and Madison Wolcott 10 digs to pace Newfane (7-5) to the straight set N-O victory over Roy-Hart (2-9).
