Albion, Kendall spikers post wins
Albion and Kendall both scored straight set home court volleyball victories this evening.
Albion bested visiting Pembroke 25-12, 25-16, 25-18 in a non league volleyball match while Kendall downed Oakfield-Alabama 25-20, 25-18, 25-14 in a Genesee Region League contest.
No less than nine players contributed to the Albion attack including Kelsee Soule (7 aces, 8 kills, 2 blocks and 13 digs), Sara Millspaugh (2 aces, 4 kills and 4 digs), Chanyce Powell (4 kills, 1 ace), Morgan Ferris (1 ace), Aleah Foos (3 kills, 2 blocks), Meghan Hurley (2 kills,10 assists, 8 digs), Olivia Neidert (2 aces, 1 kills, 4 assists and 4 digs), Ashlee Bocach (1 ace and 2 digs) and Tyquesha Jackson (2 service points).
The sophomore duo of Madison Rath (5 aces, 3 kills, 1 block) and Chelsea Wright (5 aces, 10 digs) sparked Kendall to the victory over Oakfield-Alabama which had Megan Scroger with 7 kills and 2 blocks and Makayla Hilchey with 4 kills and 2 blocks.
In another non league match, Byron-Bergen defeated visiting Medina 25-13, 25-22, 25-12 as Bryanna D’Agostino had 9 digs, 2 aces and 8 kills; Lauren Burke 21 assists and 3 aces and Abigail Kelley 2 aces and 8 kills.
Emily Kams had 13 assists, Molley Gross 5 blocks, 2 aces and 9 digs and Emma Ambrose and Brittany Schultz both with 5 kills for Medina.
