Albion hosts Batavia in youth football
Albion went 1-2 against visiting Batavia Saturday in Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) action.
Beginners Division
Albion 33 Batavia 12
Camden Holt had a huge day on the ground with 255 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Eagles offense. Jayce Torres added a 28 yard TD and Lincoln Voorhes added 2 PAT’s.
On defense, Cayden Farrell had 5 tackles, Holt 4 tackles, Jayden Russo a fumble recovery and a sack and Torres had a sack.
Mini Divison

Heyden Almonte had 32 yards rushing, Anthony O’Neal 17 yards and Landyn Galligan 10 yards for Albion..
Galligan led the Eagles defense with 7 tackles, O’Neal and Almonte 5 tackles and Conner Hinkley 4.
JV Division
Batavia 19 Albion 0
Stryker Sanders led the Eagles in rushing with 23 yards. And Jack Conn with 33 yards receiving.
Chris Almonte had a big day on defense with 10 tackles and a fumble recovery. Drake Schomske and Thailer Seibert had 4 tackles each.
