Albion’s Hollinger is All-WNY academic football team honoree

Contributed photo – Allbion High senior Jared Hollinger was honored as a member of the Academic All-Western New York football team during Saturday’s annual All-WNY Football Banquet. He is shown here with his long time friend and Albion youth football program director Gino Allport, left, and his father James Hollinger. He is in the top ten in his class, in the marching band, Robotics Club and is a volunteer football coach for the Albion youth league. He started on offense for two years and was instrumental in a Line that produced the leagues Offensive Player of the Year Tommy Mattison who rushed for 1,089 yards. He will be attending Hamilton College in the fall and playing football.
