Albion has five B2 Div. first team all-stars

Five Albion seniors have earned spots on the first team of the B2 Division All-Star football squad.
That quintet includes quarterback/defensive back Amari Jones, wide receiver/defensive back Javon Jones, running back/linebacker Jacob Hughson, running back/linebacker Sh’kwe Riley and offensive/defensive lineman Nick Radder.
Amari Jones passed for 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 612 yards and 7 touchdowns. On defense he made 53 tackles and had 5 interceptions.
Javon Jones caught 30 passes for 300 yards and 8 touchdowns and rushed for 300 yards and 3 TDs. Defensively, he made 34 tackles and had 5 interceptions.
Hughson rushed for 230 yards and 5 touchdowns and on defense had 45 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and an interception.
Riley rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown and on defense had 20 tackles.
Albion had a quartet of players earn second team honors including seniors Dallas Ecker (WR) and Aquil Gaffney (DL), junior Auston Johnson (DE) and sophomore Kwame Riley (WR).
The Purple Eagles had a trio of Honorable Mention selections includingd juniors Mason Lynch (OL), and John Eibl (LB) and sophomore Luke Bell (OL).
