Albion grads in action on collegiate soccer fields

Several recent Albion High graduates are continuing their soccer careers at the collegiate level with Western New York area squads.

Jackson Hamilton, a 2013 Albion grad, scored the game winning goal for Medaille College on Tuesday in a 3-0 victory over Cazenovia. It was the second goal of the season for Hamilton who is majoring in Sports Management.

Another 2013 Purple Eagles grad, Jon Poole, is the sophomore captain of the Niagara County Community College squad and has a penalty kick goal to his credit.

In addition, Noah Plain, a 2014 Albion grad, has seen plenty of action in goal for Monroe County Community College. He has played in 15 games making 29 saves and has a 2.11 goals against average.
